We try to keep the store as up to date as possible however there may be times when what you’re after is out of stock. If that’s the case then please contact us and we will discuss order options.

Prices & Payment

All prices on the Rainforest Ceramics website are quoted in Australian Dollars ($AUD) and are subject to change without notice.

Shipping

Australia

Our studio is located at Possum Creek in the hills behind Byron Bay, Northern NSW Australia. We take very special care in packing and sending your ceramics to you safely and as quickly as possible. We guarantee safe delivery and in the event of the rare occasion of breakage we will either replace or refund.

Please note postage is an additional charge to the retail price and is calculated upon checkout. We aim to keep the postage as affordable as possible for all customers. Items are sent via courier to capital cities or Australia Post, whichever is cheaper.

Once full payment has been received for you order, items will be packaged and shipped to you within a few days.  Please allow up to 3-7 days delivery depending on your location. Once your order has been sent we will email you a tracking number for your records.

International

Yes, we do ship internationally regularly. The shipping costs vary considerably so please contact us.

Delivery

Please ensure that the delivery address you provide is correct. Rainforest Ceramics takes no responsibility for orders delivered to an incorrect address which you have provided to us.

Availability & Backorders

We do our very best to keep on line items up to date and available however as each piece is hand made and firings can be unpredictable there may be times when items are out of stock and not available to be sent immediately. If this occurs then you will be contacted as soon as possible.

All items available for purchase are handmade by me, with the majority of pieces thrown on the wheel. Each piece is unique and slightly different.  Colour, glaze, and sizes may vary due to the firing process. Our aim is to produce beautiful, high quality, useable items.

All glazes are food safe and especially created with food in mind. For more details see Techniques.

Return or Exchange

If you purchase an item and find it’s not what you wanted we are happy to offer a return or exchange provided it’s within 14 days. Shipping costs for returned items are at the customer’s expense. Please ensure you contact us for the return address details.
